FAQ’s and Pricing

Clinical Psychologists support individuals to reduce psychological distress and enhance overall well-being. They undergo extensive training in various therapeutic approaches and evidence-based therapies. Typically, Clinical Psychologists complete a 3-year undergraduate degree in psychology, a 3-year clinical doctorate, and at least two years of clinical experience—totalling a minimum of 8 years of practical training. Therefore, Clinical Psychologists may charge more than other mental health professionals.

The title “Clinical Psychologist” is regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), meaning only those who have completed an accredited doctoral program can legally use it. In contrast, titles like “Psychologist” or “Child Psychologist” are not protected, which can lead to potential misrepresentation.

Yes.  We will meet you for online therapy using Zoom and you will be sent a secure link prior to your session. We can send you a guide for using this platform if you have not used it before!
If you are looking for in-person therapy, we are able to meet you in two central London locations – please get in touch to learn more.

We always consider a wide range of factors that can impact a person’s life, including early life experiences, family history, relationships, health, genetics, brain development, disabilities, culture and religion. This allows us to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach, considering each person’s unique context.

We are highly trained in a range of therapeutic models, including CBT, EMDR, CFT and ACT. Our interventions are grounded in the evidence base, though we carefully consider different approaches which we can use in an integrative manner, to best meet your hopes and goals.

Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration.

We recommend that you commit to weekly 50-minute sessions and will regularly review how therapy is feeling for you, what is working well, and what might need to change.

Sometimes it is enough to meet for a shorter duration (e.g. 6-10 sessions), while in other circumstances it can be helpful to meet regularly over a longer period of time.  This is something that will always be discussed in assessment sessions, so we are making sure that we develop a treatment plan that is right for you.

The cost for individual therapy sessions starts from £150 per session. Please do get in touch as fees can vary depending on what is offered (e.g. between zoom and in person sessions).

Payment for therapy sessions is expected 24 hours prior to your session via a bank transfer.

Yes, we are registered with some insurance providers, however this is carefully considered given current insurance caps. Please get in touch to learn more about funding through this avenue.

We ask that you kindly provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. If an appointment is missed or cancelled without at least 48 hours’ notice, the full session fee will be charged, as the time slot cannot be filled by another client on such short notice.

As HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists, we are committed to maintaining your confidentiality, including during video sessions. No one else will be able to hear our discussions, and it’s important that you’re also in a private space. If we ever need to share information with a third party, such as your GP or emergency contact, we will discuss this with you beforehand whenever possible.

We do not provide crisis support. If you need urgent mental health support, please contact your GP for an urgent review, call 111 option 2 or attend your local A&E department. You can also contact the Samaritans (call 116 123) for 24/7 crisis support. Mind also offers guidance on seeking emergency support.
